We offer a Morning Summer Program for children
with a connection to AHNS: either currently enrolled, incoming for
the 2010 - 2011 school year, or recently graduated.
The program starts on Monday, June 21st and will run through Thursday
August 26. (We will not be open the week of July 5th). Our philosophy
will remain the same but our days will be structured differently to
allow for warm weather fun. We will enjoy lots of water play to stay
cool. We will serve a nutritious snack each morning and ask that children
bring a healthy, nut free lunch each day.
The details of the program are as follows:
The program will run from June 21– August
26, except for the week of July 5th. The hours are 8:30 am
– 12:30 pm, Monday through Thursday. Children attend all four
days (there is no two, three or five day option).
The cost of the program is $200 per week and
tuition is non refundable. A $100.00 non-refundable registration
fee must accompany your application; this fee will be applied to the
tuition. The balance of the tuition must be paid by May 3rd, 2010.
Applications received after May 3rd should be accompanied by tuition
paid in full.
You may sign up for one to nine weeks, in
any combination of weeks you’d like. Spaces will be filled on
a first come, first served basis.
All children will need an up-to-date health
form on file at AHNS in order to attend. Please make arrangements
now to have this form to us before the summer program begins. Families
entering AHNS for the 2010-2011 school year should return their enrollment
forms to us before starting the summer program.
Every year this program fills up and has a wait-list for most weeks!
We found that many families requested additional weeks after their
child had attended for a week or so. Our staffing is arranged before
camp starts, so we can’t always accommodate these changes (but
we always try!) Sign up now to get your first choice of weeks.
